A national music celebration for visually impaired artists
Event Overview
Anugunj 2026 was successfully organised by Netram Foundation on 6–7 June 2026 in Darbhanga, Bihar as our grand launch event — a national music competition created specifically for visually impaired artists.
We received over 100 online applications from across India. After review, 30+ participants were shortlisted for the offline competition. Performers represented more than 15 institutions and came from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Delhi, Uttarakhand and other states.
The competition featured light classical, folk and allied genres, celebrating both technical craft and the deep emotional voice of Indian music. Every participant received a medal and a certificate; 12 awards were distributed across top placements and consolation honours.
