About Us
A young foundation with a timeless purpose.
Netram Foundation was registered on 11 October 2025 with a focused mandate — to start and operate a residential training centre for people with special needs, where they can learn the skills to live with dignity and independence.
Our Mission
A residential training centre where dignity is taught alongside skill.
Our mission is to start and operate a residential training centre for people with special needs — a place where they live, learn and grow in a supportive environment, equipped with skills that translate into a dignified, independent life.
Our Vision
An India where blindness or low vision never decides what a person can dream, learn or become.
Our Mission
To deliver education, skills, assistive technology and dignity-driven care to the visually impaired community.
Our Approach
Listening first. Designing programs with — not for — the people we serve. Measuring impact with honesty.
Where we are today.
We are a new organisation — registered just months ago and currently in the planning phase of our operations. Our founding team is shaping pilots in education, skill-building and assistive support, while building partnerships with schools, employers and the visually impaired community itself. This is the moment to join us — early supporters shape an institution.
Be an Early SupporterWhy Netram
The name.
Netram means "the eye" in Sanskrit — but in our work it means something larger: the inner eye of awareness, opportunity and self-belief. We exist so that the absence of physical sight never becomes the absence of vision for one's own life.
